Welcome to Yappit. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy and Community Guidelines.
Eligibility & access
Yappit is available to members of supported campuses and companies. You join with a campus or organisation code and your device; no email address is required to create an account. Campus codes are for the people that campus is meant to admit, and you must not share or misuse them.
Because your device is your login, keeping access to your account is tied to keeping that device. You may add a recovery email so you can restore your account on a new phone. This is optional, and if you do not add one we may be unable to restore your account if you lose your device.
Yappit is intended for people aged 18 and over.
Your conduct
You are responsible for what you post. You agree to follow the Community Guidelines and not to use Yappit for harassment, threats, hate, doxxing, spam, or illegal activity.
Anonymity & moderation
You are anonymous to other users by default, and you may choose to claim a username that appears on what you post. Either way you are not above the rules. We may remove content, restrict accounts, and cooperate with authorities to address abuse or unlawful activity.
Moving campus or organisation
Changing the campus or organisation your account belongs to is a request we review, not a setting you can switch. We ask for an email address and confirm it with a code before the request can be made, and we may decline a request or ask for more information.
Account deletion
You may delete your account at any time from Settings, or via yappit.app/delete-account.
